My Thoughts
When I heard that a couple of friends were going to make hip-hop tracks, I pretty much begged them to let me participate. It turned-out to be some of the best fun I ever had making music, but I think it was partly due to the fact that we didn't take it seriously. We were all very serious about music, but when I was making this stuff I didn't really care that much. It was liberating in a way. Unfortunately, the more we did it and the deeper we got, the more seriously we began to take it, and then it wasn't as much fun anymore.
