The Stalker is a concept that has evolved a bit since it was created. In summary, I would categorize it as a "horror song" because it is about something scary. Murder? Ghosts? Demons? I don't know. I was impressed with myself after recording the original version of it, pronouncing to my friend that I was going to "bring back heavy metal". (This friend then quickly introduced me to the band Sleep and I shut my mouth!)

I ended-up recording a standardized version of the song with my friend Todd (The October Complex), and then performed the song live with him and few other people at The Flying Machine in Lorain, Ohio, on March 27, 1999.

A video featuring the version with The October Complex appeared on the Testtone 1000Hz and Akroness collections.
