My Thoughts

This collection was put together during a crazy period. I was still living in Athens, Ohio, after graduating the previous summer, so I was still essentially living on college time. This all took place during what would have been spring break at Ohio University. I went back to Lorain after my girlfriend moved away and spent a few days putting together a band with a few friends so we could play at a show in Lorain, Ohio. The show was put on to benefit a compilation tape that we'd all contributed two songs toward. The people in this thrown-together band ("The Dextros" named after my personal moniker at the time "dextrometh*") we didn't have bands of our own so we formed a temporary one and ended-up opening the show. Many of the tracks here were other side projects, songs recorded during that time, getting used to playing with one another.
