Home On The Range is a cover of of the state song of Kansas, USA. I vividly remember recording this song in a small bedroom studio of my first apartment in Akron, Ohio. I hated that apartment as well as living in the city, in general, and would escape to the rural areas outside of Kent whenever I could. My girlfriend was living with me at the time and we were no longer friends, but there was nothing we could do about it. It was a bad, bad time. I remember finding the song in an old book and recording it in a rather somber mood.
