==Personal Thoughts==
This collection represents... essentially wrapping-up the strangest creative period of my life. It was in late 2007, after I bought my home in west Akron, that I more-or-less quit making music, videos, artwork... everything. I gave-up. Then, the [[Kaleidoscope Project]] started in early 2008, which resulted in my making music again. Around this time, I also began to focus on delivering media online, rather than assembling music and videos on physical media (i.e. CDs and DVDs). So, most of the music assembled here has either been a soundtrack for a video or appeared in the music section of [http://www.60bpm.com/ 60bpm.com].

If the music was already included in other places, why compile them into a separate collection? I did this for two reasons. First and foremost, I wanted to have something "new" to go along with the release of my new site for [http://www.scaryrecords.org scary!records]. The last time I'd assembled a physical collection of anything was in 2009, so I wanted it to look fresh. Second, I am proud of a lot of the music collected here and really honestly don't think it was presented in a way that would allow people who are interested in it to appreciate it properly. When you're watching a video, the music can take a back seat, and when it's strictly online... well, who knows if anyone is even aware that it exists!

It also allowed me to draw a line in the sand and say, "That was then and that's over... what do I do NOW?!?" I had fallen into such a rut that I needed something that amounted to walking through a threshold or taking a shower, something... and this seemed like as good of an idea as anything.
