==My Thoughts==
This was recorded about a week before I left for college using my [[Tascam Porta07]] 4-track cassette recorder, which I had just recently bought. The machine had two mic inputs, so I set them up to record an open, stereo image of the practice studio, which was an (approximately) 20' x 15' box of a room. I remember it being extremely hot because it was summer (naturally) and there was no window or air conditioning in the room. I think we had a couple of fans blowing, but that was about it. We were all basically chain smoking, so it was pretty miserable in that little space.

The only "real" songs were "Coke", "Lesbian Orphange", "Rectal Inflammation", "Happy!" and "Messy Song". If I recall correctly, the titles were made-up on the spot. The songs were all better than any that I had played with the band, and think it's unfortunate that this is the only document of them. Towards the end of the night, the band's friends, Henry and Timko, showed-up and we played an extended jam session that over which they freestyled lyrics. I always thought it was entertaining, but noone else wanted to remember it.
