My cycle begins with [[Winter Trees|Winter]], because it was the winter tree that inspired me to resurrect the [[Kaleidoscope Project]], and then progresses through to [[Autumn Trees|Autumn]]. I’ve found it difficult to write down my feelings about this collection without it sounding a bit pretentious, but I’ll say that I feel it represents my vision of what this project is all about, better than any other will, because of the fact that it uses such a common thing as a tree for it’s subject. On a side note, while the winter tree was my inspiration, it proved to be the most difficult subject. The final compositions I produced for it never seemed to satisfy what I had in mind. Ultimately, it was a fortunate problem because it prevented me from completing an early collection.
