==Personal Thoughts==<br />
Obviously, the big thing here was the new Akai S-20 sampler. It opened so many doors and ideas and opportunities. The primary use for it was sampling my friends who played drums and creating loops from their beats. Over the new few years, the same 4 or 5 beats can be found in a lot of my music.<br />
